    LICI is located in the beautiful Christian Center of Grecia.  We have five rooms for classes.  Additionally, we are able to use the gardens and the temple.  The gardens provide a natural and ideal environment for learning and enjoying beauty that God created.



We also have the auditorium of the congregation that has capacity for tree hundred people and more, with toilets, kitchen, parking and administrative offices totally equipped with all the necessary for the proper development of the work we do.

LICI is located in San Roque of Grecia, in the province of Alajuela, Costa Rica. Grecia is only 30 minutes from the main airport in the country and 55 minutes from the capital city, San José.



The climate in Grecia is considered as one of the best all across the country, the total population is around 80000 inhabitants and it’s famous for the beauty of the places you can visit here and the kind treatment of their residents.



The main agricultural products are the coffee and the sugar cane, but there are different factories, supermarkets, recreation places and many car sales.



Undoubtedly Grecia has a strategic location, you can travel from here to the Pacific or the Caribean of our country in a few hours, and there you can enjoy the different natural beauties of Costa Rica.
 

Our origins and history

LICI is a project of the foundation “Destellos de Esperanza” and the Christian Center of Grecia. Both organizations have worked for a long time developing projects that promote the Christian values, while maintaining a strong commitment to the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

LICI becomes a way for people from different parts of the world, who want to learn Spanish and understand the Latin culture in a Christian environment, now they can do so at our institute.

LICI was conceived to create fraternal ties between foreigners visiting Grecia from different places across the planet and the inhabitants and despite the short period of time they stay in Grecia, . we think for them as well as the LICI students  the teachers, hosts, guides, among others which make possible the good work of the Institute, the experience  will be unforgettable.

The ministers Jose and Ilse Calvo , directors of the foundation , along with the teachers , leaders and members of the Christian Center would like to share with our students our culture , our language , the beauty of our country , but specially our experience with God

Projects like Baby Think It Over, Logos Formative Center, Values (public schools materials), School for Parents, Jesus is Christmas, are some of the projects that are currently being developed.
