Grecia is surrounded by a diversity of touristic destinations including beautiful waterfalls, tropical forests, a volcano with one of the largest craters in the world, the city of Sarchi (a center for Costa Rican handicrafts, including the famous painted carts). Also, many students enjoy trips to the Pacific beaches, the hot springs of the Arenal Volcano and the beautiful countryside. We encourage our students to experience as much of our country as is possible during their stay. We can provide specific information and suggestions upon request.
